Four Award Nominations
The Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres (EMACT) nominated Needham Community Theatre’s production of Fiddler on the Roof for four DASH awards!
Jim Braunstein (Tevye) - Lead Performer in a Musical - Drama
Elle Sciore, Hannah Novack and Jordana Meltzer (Tevye's Daughters) - Specialty Ensemble in a Musical
Nadine Sa, Heather Daley, Naomi Goldman - Stage Management for a Musical
Libby Ostrofsky - Prop Design for a Musical
Libby will also be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award
Awards were given at the 2025 Annual DASH Gala,August 23rd, at Cary Memorial Hall in Lexington, MA

Congratulations to the cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for winning Best Ensemble - Musical at the 2021-2022 DASH Awards Gala, presented by the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres (EMACT) on August 20th at Cary Hall in Lexington. The cast also received loud applause for their performance at the Gala. NCT was nominated in 10 categories for Spelling Bee; the list of all nominees is here, and the nomination presentation on YouTube can be seen here. NCT’s nominations included:
Best Supporting Performer in a Female-Identifying Role - Marielle Sciore
Best Set Design - Chris Stulb

On July 15, 2021, the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theaters (EMACT) honored NCT with Virtual DASH Consultants Choice Awards for our musical revues A Little Bit of Fun in 2021 and A Little More Fun in 2021.
Chris Tess, Dan Henderson, and David Bailit were awarded Excellence in Technical Production, and Ashley DiFranza was awarded Outstanding Cabaret Soloist.
Congratulations to all of our Fun in 2021 cast and crew! Thank you to EMACT and its consultants for continuing to recognize and support community theater during this difficult year.
