Being Involved in the Shows

NCT holds open auditions prior to each regular season production. These are advertised on the web site and through our mailing list. In addition, staging a Needham Community Theatre production involves a large team of non-acting members working to bring together the various parts of a production. These behind-the-scenes activities are critical to the show's success.

There are many opportunities to get involved, such as sewing costumes, finding props, building sets, working stage crew, publicizing the show, selling tickets, and more. If you are interested in getting involved, we are eager to have you join us. Contact us and we'll have someone get in touch with you right away!

Membership

Membership in NCT entitles you to one ticket (single membership) or two tickets (family membership) per show, with more tickets and preferred seating if you choose to become a patron member. And NCT membership has other privileges!

• receipt of our monthly newsletter;
• participation in our membership events, such as our annual fall Italian dinner;
• casting preference, all other considerations being equal;
• voting rights at membership meetings, and
• friendships that will last for years!

Becoming a Patron

Patrons are members who choose to extend a higher level of financial support to NCT to allow us to continue to serve our approximately 50-year mission as a non-profit community theatre company in Needham. In return for their support, patrons receive all of the benefits or members, plus

• preferred seating;
• the ability to purchase up to 6 additional tickets in preferred seating at a discount, and
• recognition in our show programs.
