Audition Information for NCT's 2012 production of

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Performance Dates

Friday March 30 at 8pm

Saturday March 31 at 8pm

Sunday April 1 at 3pm

Rehearsals Days: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:00-10:00pm

Auditions will take place at Needham Presbyterian Church, 1458 Great Plain Ave, Needham, MA. The church is on the corner of Great Plain and Central Avenues. Please park in the Newman Elementary School parking lot (1155 Central Avenue).

Audition information:

Tuesday, January 17 at 7pm
Thursday, January 19 at 7pm.
Children's audition: January 19 at 6:30pm 

Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Familiarity with the script is highly recommended. Southern accents will be used in the production.

Please HONESTLY declare your conflicts. The performance dates are listed above. Cast members must be available for all performances and all rehearsals during tech week.

• Maggie (23-33) - The play's cat.
• Brick (25-35) - Son of Big Daddy and husband of Maggie.
• Big Daddy (50-65) - Husband of Big Mama and the father of Gooper and Brick.
• Big Momma (50-65) - Wife of Big Daddy and the mother of Gooper and Brick.
• Gooper (28-38) - Big Daddy's eldest son, and Mae's husband.
• Mae (25-35) -  Gooper's wife.
• Doctor Baugh (35-55) - The family doctor.
• Reverend Tooker (45-65) - The local preacher.
• 2 African-American servants (25-60) - male or female
• Trixie and Dixie Pollitt (7-12) - Mae and Gooper's daughters
• Buster and Sunny Pollitt (7-10) - Mae and Gooper's sons

When: Tues Jan 17 at 7pm and  Thurs Jan 19 at 7pm.  Children's audtion Thurs Jan 19 at 6:30pm.
